Restored bird’s eye view of the town of Ocampo – formerly Jesus Maria – in Chihuahua, Mexico 1851 by Charles Gildemeister. The name was changed in 1861 to honor Melchor Ocampo, lawyer, scientist, and politician who was assassinated.
