Shipping & Returns
Our shipping and handling charge is a flat $9.95 to anywhere in the US ($24.95 to Canada) for the entire order, regardless of the number of maps in the order, and free shipping for a minimum order of $100 to anywhere in the U.S. and Canada. Our flat fee is higher for all other countries. They are wrapped in a protective plastic sleeve and shipped unframed in a sturdy mailing tube.
We also ship to most other countries (24″ high maximum size) for a $42.00 flat fee. Our maps usually ship within one business day by Global Post.
Depending on your location you can expect to receive your map within 3-7 days of placing the order, a little longer for Canada, and up to three weeks for other countries.
Please be sure that you enter a correct street address that can accept deliveries from UPS. We cannot ship to a P.O. box. If an order is returned to us because no deliveries can be made, store credit less actual shipping charges (can be $9.95 due to re-shipping) will be incurred. Shipping charges must be paid prior to re-delivery to a new address.
We strive to keep all of our customers completely satisfied. We will always accept return of any of our maps that are damaged in shipping within a 10 day period. We will also gladly accept the return of any of our maps for any other reason within a 30 day period (less a $7.00 restocking/handling fee for each regular size map, $10.00 for each large map), so long as the returned maps have not been used, altered, damaged, are in their original sleeve, or changed in anyway whatsoever. In order to make a return to us, contact us via email or call us, making sure to include identification of the item(s) you purchased, including the order number and date. Please state a reason for the return. All returned maps must be in like new condition. You must notify us within 2 weeks from the date your order was shipped if you believe a map is defective. If we determine that you have received a defective map, we will provide a shipping label. If you are out of the time frame, or are returning a product not determined to be defective, you are responsible for the shipping charges to return the item. In no instance will shipping be refunded.

Please allow standard shipping timing of 3-5 business days for your return to arrive back to us, and up to 3 business days to process your return from the time it reaches us. All credit requests will be completed within one to two billing periods, but please note that it may take your credit card bank up to 30 days to apply your credit. Please note that we have no control over how long the credit card company takes to credit the refund to your account after we submit the data to them, but we do whatever we can to expedite the process.
When returning an item for exchange or refund, Vintage City Maps is not responsible for the product making it back to our facility. It would be up to you as the consumer to place any desired insurance on items being shipped back to us. If there is no tracking number placed on return product and item does not make it back to our warehouse, Vintage City Maps cannot be held liable for lost product.
